When you use our financial calculators and the Financial Plan Generator (educational), you may input financial information such as income, expenses, savings, and debt amounts. The calculator inputs are processed locally in your browser. The Plan Generator inputs are sent over an encrypted server-side request to a third-party AI provider (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, or xAI, depending on our configuration) to generate a single educational response, and are not retained by us afterwards.
